This is the final book in the John Cleaver series, and ultimately I was disappointed. My main reason is that it didn't really feel like the series itself was ending. It felt like another episode of series, and throughout a lot of the series, a lot of the endings feel truncated. They end up feeling really rushed. This is in contrast with the first third of the book which is really well fleshed out. There really isn't much new stuff here as opposed to the other books. I'm glad I finished the series, but I probably won't come back to it.
