Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel 9/10

First off, this book is awesome because it successfully does epistolary well. (By epistolary I mean it's comprised mostly of documents of government interviews. You really feel the big awesomeness of what's going on. It deals with themes of the nature of mythology, and on the shift in people's worldviews when dealing with extraterrestrials. It's definitely not a hard sci-fi where the explanation of what's happening is the main drive, but it's got that element of plausible wonder to it that draws me to sci-fi.
